Well, needless to say it was a cold day. How cold you ask? Damn cold. I didn't want to shut off the truck at the deer check station, so I removed the FOB, locked the door, and went and got my doe. Loaded her in the truck and hit the FOB to no avail. Now picture a one lane drive thru style area with the deer check station and cooler (mine was there overnight), and a line of hunters behind an idiot who locked himself out of his truck. Long story short now I broke into the truck and couldn't get out of there fast enough.

everybody take a wire under the dash and lets cut it on march 31st and see if it cures the FOB problem on the pre 2002's

LOL, um, I'll pick a black one, let me know how it turns out for ya. I have looked through some crude wire diagrams from chilton. If anyone has any good electric diagrams on the keyless entry and Gem Module, lets post em up, I am sure we can come up with something to enable the module to work when truck is running.
