Remote keyless entry

My 02 came with power windows and locks but not keyless entry. How can I add the remote to my truck?

If it didn't come with factory remotes, you'll need to have an aftermarket keyless entry system installed. You could probably get a cheap alarm with keyless entry installed for about the same price.

JC Whitney has some pretty good deals on basic remotes and stuff that plug into stock wiring...

Thats what the dealer said. I didn't know you could get power windows and locks without a remote.

Yep. There was some confusion when I ordered my 02 and I ended up without the keyless entry option

. I had an aftermarket keyless entry installed the first week I had it.

I didnt get one either I guess there was a electronic package you had to get in order to have keyless entry. I dont like it anyways to bulky
