How much do those pumps flow? Using one of those and the stock inline as a boost pump would really wake it up I think. There are aftermarket in tank pumps for the Mustangs that flow aound 70gph at their rated pressure...something like that would kick tail.
A gasser assembly would be easy to install. You would also need the 4 prong plug that goes with it to wire in the fuel pump. I'm pretty sure it would supply enough fuel to feed the beast, the gasser system is a circular one similar in theory as the diesel factory fuel housing. The only question mark would be the higher pressure. Pressures for the V-10 Key on engine running: 28-45 psi. I don't know how long it would last when asked to run outside of design perameters.
yes but the intank pumps on the gassers are just lift pumps, the high preasure pump is on the frame just like the diesels so it would be acting just like the extra pumps cookie and I have just installed but be a cleaner install for looks anyway.
Ok, well, I just finished relocating my pump to the rear of the truck and it helps a little. Next on the agenda is installing the new injectors that I am still waiting on for arrival. After that VACATION in Utah. After that, fix my driveway.
LOL, it's going to have to wait until next fall at this rate.

Not all gassers have two pumps. GM trucks only use one as do many others.
yes but we are talking about fords here. but as discussed in this and other threads some diesels hve 2 pumps but the Ford doesn't which is what we are trying to fix.
Hey why not you use either what you hve or what works best for what your trying to do. I mean take nascar earnhart uses a Ford 9" in his chevy, and I run a delco alt on my ford ranger race truck. I decided to try the prepump idea using a HOlley red pump not because it was what others have used with good luck in the past but because it was what I had sitting here and didn't have to order it or spend more money to get it.

I totally agree. Use what you've got if it works. I wasn't trying to give kwik a hard time for it.
