looking for the eot sensor

on a 95 psd i was woundering where the eot sensor is.thanks

pretty sure its the one that is on the back of hpop reservoir. shares the same wiring as icp and ipr if im not mistakin.

Yep. The one on top of the reservoir is the oil pressure switch, and the rear facing one is the EOT sensor.

thanks for the imfo.i got some wierd scanner numbers on the ipr.its building 2800psi at 35 % at 2200 rpm.falls flat on its face and starts to smoke and run rough. the thing starts and runs good until 2200rpm.any ideas? thanks

There's been a lot of posts stating that a ground wire to the back of the IPR gets loose and then the truck runs bad.

Is that with a chip installed or without?

with out chip.we got 3 of these trucks for work and another 1 come in last night with same prob.now i got 2 trucks down.took 3rd truck out and drove run like a champ.so i switched idm no change.i guess its one of those days! is any way to test the ipr.thanks

Must be halloween where you live ... 4 of them with the same problem. Does it sound like a fuel supply problem? Filter I mean.

Try changing your oil if it's been a while. Many posts stating that whatever driveability problem they had was cleared up with an oil change.

just thought i would give you a update on what i found wrong.the first truck had a bad eot senser .the 2nd truck had the wrong ipr senser in.some other shop worked on this a while ago .amagin that.but anyway i got it to run pretty good. the o-rings are stating to leak but thats another day!thanks for all your help and good info on this site.thanks mod8
