Fagh! I wish we were rich. We just have really good credit

Although, I guess I would sorta be loaded if I didn't blow every penny I earned on toys

Yea, I'd love to cut my boggers but I'm just back to not being able to run them at the drags deal. I wish they'd get their act together out here...I don't mind being in the pro-modifieds but being stuck in the open class with the 900hp sand rails just because I have cut tires is ridiculous.

Wouldn't cut Boggers be just like the ag tires?

Have you guys taken a picture of Superbeast and Captin siting next to each other yet?
Who is taller?
Now I have ideas of combining my bronco frame, pickup cab, 60's and 49" iroks some day when I have some cash.

I was trying to find a pic of Ivans ag tires for a side by side comparison but no the cut boggers aren't ag tires.
Maybe Ivan or Pro can post a pic of hte ag tires to compare too.

I've seen Ivan's tires, I was just thinking cut boggers would have a simmilar effect.

Nope, my digicam is busted. I'm happy to anounce that mine is taller though...about an inch in the nose and a tad over three in the ****

Allthough I'm not sure for how much longer if I keep rubbing it in

Yea, cut boggers rule over ANY tire cut or otherwise that has a dot stamp on the sidewall. But ags are king.

The roughly 44" sized ags are a good bit cheapr than a 44" bogger.

Well in certian circumstances cut boggers can even rule over ag tires and paddle tires.

Hey Pro measure the lugs on those ag tires I am just curious how much deeper they are.

I think I posted that the ags have 1" lugs on them earlier which is false. They're 1.6" deep as opposed to the bogger's 26/32 depth (just over 3/4") so it's double the tread of a bogger plus a lot more space between the lugs so they clean easier. The nice thing is the diagonal cut of the lugs keeps them in constant contact with the road so they ride smooth whereas a bogger or especially a cut bogger will have a lumpiness to it in the mall parking lot. One more thing that makes the ags superior to a bogger in some aspects is that the diagonal tread offers lateral stability. A bogger on a muddy side hill tends to slide really bad and has been the cause of more than one roll over. The tread being as deep as it is on these would make them a bad choice for a mud drag, unless you were to do some good cutting on them and even then I think a properly cut bogger would whoop them but for overall muddy terrain and general bogging/wheeling I think these are the way to go. Some of the ags can be expensive but I got a decent deal on these (cheaper than a 44" bogger) and am looking into another dealer who might be able to get the other pair for me for less money yet.

Here's a couple pics I'm borrowing from the Alaska guys to give you a comparison until I can get back to Portland to snap my own, and for anyone interested in some good tech info on these tires check out their site: http://www.akfabshop.com/alaskaoffroad/Tire_Tech.htm

Laugh it up fuzzball! [/han solo off] I'm going to pick the rear end up a little more as I don't like the way those springs have settled since I installed them but I think the front is about where it's gonna stay. My poor driveshaft is already at its limit.

Yup, for mudbogging ags are the shizzle. Ivan brought up an important point about the lateral stability being much better with these over the boggers...thats the one big drawback with el boggerinos. I confess I was surprised how smooth they are on the road, Ivan's not kidding when he said they were way smoother than my boggers. You do have to wheel smarter with ags though. If you get stuck hard you'd best lay off the throttle because those things will just dig you straight down to your framerails in a second.

Wheel Smart, wheel S-Mart
