Great googily-moogily... 376 miles? How did the ag tires do on the drive to the bogs? And, what tires did you have on for the 376 mile portion of the trip?
We were both pretty shocked but the ag tires ride smoother than a bogger any day. I took it up to about 40mph. From 30 on you can feel a really slight vibration from the lugs hitting the pavement but that's it. I have swampers for street tires so that's what I drove down there on and I ran a pair up front. I was supposed to have 4 ag tires but the tire dealer lost on (two months ago) and they still haven't got it replaced. Hopefully they'll have my other pair in time for the next event. A swamper in that mud may as well be a drag slick.
Nice Ivan i'm at work so i have to wait till i get home to watch the vid glad you got it muddy the pic says a 1000 words and i see Pro is alive and well. One of these yrs when i get my truck setup i'll come and play with you guys.
ivan, i love your truck and plan on building another fullsize one day after i get settled down

Ditto. I can't wait until I build another truck with 49's. Hell, they might make Iroks in a 60" size by the time I get up and running again. Mark my words, if FTE is still huge and you guys are still putzin' around, you'll see something VERY unique.
Cleatus12r that thing is a work of art in your gallery.I always loved the look of the original ground hawgs they look more monster truck if you know what I mean.I dont like swampers Thats why I love my bajas they look really aggresive my babys not hittin any holes.I guess its a mall crawler.appreciate ya!
Did you guys notice that Cody misses that monster truck off his. He still has it in his avitar. Man Cody I cant wait to see thenext creation off yours. Im sure it will be outstanding as usual. When Cody does something he does it right. Hope the new owner is taking good care off the monster truck. Cody an Ivan have given me the bug to modify my truck. This site sure can be expensive Im never happy with the way my truck looks.
It's a Goodyear Suregrip, 18.4x16.1 which equates to about 45" tall. Actually Goodyear is discontinuing them and they're being sold under the brand name "American Farmer" now. The kick *** thing is the tread is 1" deep so the dig in and grab like mad. When I went to pull the Bronco out of the tank trap I had to do it in reverse because my rear receiver wasn't finished (I ran out of shielding gas at the last minute). I didn't realize how stuck he was until I made the first pull and he didn't budge but Pro and I looked at each other somewhat with horror and somewhat with glee when I took up the slack in the tow strap and hit the throttle. We felt the back end of the truck drop near a foot all of a sudden. Those tires will paddle you through most anything but if you're stuck good and have the power to spin them they'll dig you a grave too.
I didn't have time to get pics of them but I'm gonna call about my last tire today. Hopefully I can get the other pair and I'll snap pics of them on the beadlocks, along with the new air down system. They do make the Cap'n look like a mini-monster truck . . . friggin wicked.
