Thank you for correcting my comic book acquired engineering skills. You are completely right. This is a great site with really smart people contributing. It is amazing how much heat an unlocked tc makes in an aero. When mine unlocks under load at 60 mph climbing a hill, my tach jumps 500 rpm. Under the same situation, my acura with a less torquey motor only moves a needle width on the tach.
Could one calculate tc losses accurately from that rpm change. I gotta believe my 15 % estimate is low.

Why don't you post how you hooked up those transmission lock- up LEDs. I think you will save those of us that tow many thousands of dollars. Its a great idea.
