I got myself an 84 f250, it was given to me with a blown transfer case and no drive shaft. The motor is a 351w with 150k miles on it and it runs great. But the truck is starting to rust out and i found a 73 pinto with 11k miles on it and its only gonna cost 500$ bucks. Now i never thought i'd find myself to do this but after i saw another pinto with a 5.8 in it i fell in love. Now before u guys jump to conclusions on this subject about how im doing it let me explain. The motor, trans (4 speed granny), and the 410 rear are going into the pinto in some way, i dont have a real solid plan but its gonna have to work. But what i wanna ask is if any of u people have done this kinda thing to a pinto and if you have how fast was it? I know 71-73 pinto are the lightest somewhere around 2200 lbs and i've read that a stock 351 will run the pinto into 13's. And yes i know the things tend to explode into flames when hit from behind but i dont care as long as im havin fun!
