2.0 to 2.3 swap

Ok guys so I just got this truck its a 1980 courier 2.0 with a 5 speed. I know I can make huge power out of a 2.3 "mini stock pinto" but how does this engine differ from the 2.0 Mazda engine I have? Specifically bell housing, tranny alignment bolt pattern, and motor mounts? Any help would be great thanks!!

EVERYTHING is going to be different because it's a true Mazda.

The 2.0 is a Mazda engine, while the 2.3 is ford. Trans will not swap between the 2 engines.
The 2.3 was installed in some Courier's, but I don't know how involved it will be to do this type of swap. The radiator and driveshaft may work, or they may not. Pretty much everything else between them has to be changed.

The Courier was built by Mazda for Ford. The 2.0 is not the "oddball" engine, the 2.3 was.
