Idiot light on on dash

Idiot light on on dash
2001 V6 Escape. The red radiator light on the left side of the dash comes and goes. The temp. guage always reads normal and the coolant is full. What give? I'm guessing a sensor but do not know where to look. Any idea? Thanks.

Ford had a problem with this. Double check you are full on coolant
the bottle is kinda werid look inside with the cap off. It should be at or
slightly above the bottle seam. If it is full unplug the sensor on the
overflow bottle if the light goes out you need a new overflow bottle.
