E Brake light on dash will not go off

The littl light to the left side of my dash will not go off.. I have never used the ebrake... But last night it came on, and will not go off. I pushed it down and released it and it still sits there daunting me!!! Please help, what should i do?

E Brake light on dash will not go off

It's telling you that either your brake light switch is broken (the one attached to your parking brake pedal) or you are low on brake fluid.

Try giving the parking brake switch a good shot of WD-40. If the switch is sticking, this might free it up.
