Rotor Thickness

Anyone out there know what the minimum rotor thickness is for the 2003 4X4 Escape? Mine are down to .913- have pretty deep ridges from the original size.

Thanks guys. The Escape seems to be a decent vehicle, but after reading some of the problems on brakes in the forums, why in the world does ford go so cheap on the brakes? You would think they would want a better reputation than that.

The brakes WORK perfectly, one of the better vehicles for stopping distance in the SUV class. It's a trade off, better braking and dirt and wear or less braking and less dirt and less ware.

Many manufacturers have gone cheap on the brakes. They're easy to change. $100 for a set of Raybestos PG Plus rotors and $60 for a set of decent ceramic brake pads (no/low dust) and you'll be set.
