ball flange collector
I got my new Headman outboards & opened the box to find this weird looking collector. So I called Summit & they said that Headman and other mfgr's are going to this style because it seals better & the old style isn't made anymore. Now, I've got to figure a way to get them hooked up to my stainless 3 bolt flanges. Why can't anything be simple ?

i know its much easier said than done but can you pull your exhaust out and cut the 3 bolt flange off and weld the ball adapter in place of it? that seems to be the only logical way esp if it s a better design!

The ball & socket collectors are real nice, I'm glad to see them going to those. When I bought my Stans Headers for the 428 the headers came with the proper collector though...kind of a pita when you have to buy the collectors seperatly and didn't know it though.
