6400 lbs. curb weight on the H2 2004 gross weight 8600
5495 lbs.on the big Lariat 7200 lbs.
Lariat books at 14-18 mpg
Can not find Hummer miles anywhere, as EPA does not require it to be tested... Gee I wonder why they don't voluntarily test it...
The Hummer books at twice the Lariats costs.

I just got '05 crewXLT 5.4L 3.73ls with ~5 miles on the OD first of the month. First chance I got I had the pedal to the floor, had to test the 300 ponies at 5000 RPM, I could not help myself. I drive alot of back roads and a little highway with the pedal as close as it gets to the floor. Thru the first couple of tanks ave over 14.5 mpg. just over 1200 miles now. The mileage is about what I expected. Will see when I get out of the gas how the mpg pan out.

I just came back from my first long towing trip. I towed a 91 Mustang on a U-haual car trailer from Tampa to PA. I have 3.55 gears 4 x 2 got 12.5 MPG to Southern WV. From WV to PA outside of Pittsburg ended up at 12.0 for the entire trip. I drove 65 to 80MPH. On the return trip I was up to 19.0 going down the long hill in VA into NC on I77 but by the time I got back to FL with no trailer I was down to 18.0. I drove around 80 or just under until the last 90 miles where I was pushing 90 - 95. Around town I get from 11.5 to 13.5 mostly short trips with an occasional freeway trip.

I think that one of the reasons for poor MPG could simply be the fact that most truck owners, especially the late model F-150 owner's, myself included, are replacing the stock wheels/tires for larger ones which can have a negative affect on mpg. Just look in ebay and you will find a bunch of take-offs from 04-05 F-150 wheels/tires listed.
