Fuel prices, no joke. I'm riding with Rob in the Stupor-duty. Both of us paying for 2.50 diesel is cheaper then me just paying for 2.30 gas. ^_^ I'll just drive 45 minutes to Chariton or something.
Between the Chinese and the Arab's....gas freakin sucks. I'm getting an M16 and going over to Iraq to liberate some oil fields. who's with me?
I'm with ya! We can mount some machine guns (50 BMG's) in the back of my truck and go shoot camels!
Count me in on the meet, my new 390 in running nice.
Been there done that. Well, I actually never liberated an oilfield in my life. But I did show up over there with an M-16 Ha ha ha. Any of you guys from C.R?
I grew up just west of the Amanas. There are a few in the area, just a matter of when they check in and pipe up. I have to be out at the airport Thursday night to pick up my parents. Also going to be at the swap meet out to Hawkeye Downs this weekend. Wasn't aware they changed the date on it until last Friday...
Born and raised in CR.... but I never liberated an oil field. I have STARTED a couple oil fields, but I think a pan gasket and a rear main will fix that.
I was never in the military, real close 20 years ago.... anyway, appreciate all who have and do serve.
LOL. Cool. Do you still live in CR? And does the Iowa chapter ever meet up, like on a fri.night somewhere? I am starting to get back into the whole car /truck thing after a 4-5 year hiatus(Army). Thank God my wife is pretty understanding about the whole thing!
My folks are still in CR, but I live just west of DesMoines now. I'd like to go to a g2g but seeing as I couldn't make the DM one and attendance was pretty low.... I think lots more of us would LIKE to go, but sometimes hard to fit it all in. Definitely lots of good people here and in FTE in general.
well, then guys, name a place and time, and lets just do it! doesn't have to be formal, just a place. Have it at your home if you want, it doesn't matter. If nothing more, look me up at the swap meet Saturday, it'll be a grey 86 F250, 3 FTE stickers on the back window...
it would be nice to meet in CR i live about 20 minutes away from there. we could meet up at Ellis Park along the river. if we could do it in about a month that would be awesome.
I guess I didn't mention it, I will be at the swap meet both Saturday and Sunday. If any of you have time, come on out and look me up. A friend of mine is wanting to sell his Chevy, hard to miss, red cab and clip with white box, about 6" lift and 35's. My truck will be sitting beside it. If the weather is decent, i will be probably sitting on my tailgate, gonna have some motors and trannys to sell. Got plenty of other stuff too, odds and ends.

I do, but it depends how soon you need it, otherwise I may be able to come up with something. There are some options, just have to see how it works out. Just need block and crank, nothing more?
