Has there been a month or date selected by the Iowa Chapter members yet?

Our monthly meeting locations and dates are filling up fast.

Is July or September okay?

In August we maybe meeting the Wisconsin Chapter at Great Lakes Drag Strip.

We are still planning to meet with the Indiana Chapter at U.S. 41 Drag Strip this summer as well.

Any suggestions ?

Well guys, what do you think, go for the 3rd weekend in July? We need to hear back on this.

 

Far as I know that would work for me, I don't think I have any races that weekend so far, and don't know when the family GTG will be so ones as good as another for me.

No nudey bars in Keokuk, either, I think, and that's a good thing. Clean livin', boys and girls!! Family style, cause I'm bringin the whole crew!!

 

all kinds of bars, but no nudes that I know of... have to go up to across from Burlington for that, I think... I had forgotten for those who have boats they like to play with, we have a marina as well, just down the road from where the meeting would be, not even a mile away. Good to hear from ya there, grandaddy's, been a while!

I am a member of a couple of other forums and ol' Henry's been out to patch while we've been trying to get ready to possibly buy a new home. Since I'm not working on the old fella for the time being, I've been frequenting my other forums posting there and seeking/offering advice and not posting here. It's always nice to touch base with old friends!

 

3rd weekend in July in Keokuk sounds awesome. Count me and mine in!

as far as I can say, the third weekend of July is the date, but nothing more has been worked on, the interest dropped off and I haven't heard anything, kinda like a lot of things in here lately...

 

I'm not sure I want to hear what I have to say on the subject, so I've kept my keyboard silent.

Has anyone from Il. shown interest in this meet?

 

I'm from Illinois and I intend to attend.
