JW, I tried to send you an email back but you email is turned off...

I don't think I need any parts, I use all new parts for my builds unless I'm just reringing a motor.

As far as these graph's are concerned, the only way to quantify them is with real world dyno numbers. I HOPE to be able to find one around here. By close, I mean...........say........within a 3 hour drive!.......yes, it sucks here in S. Orygun

This is my 4th attempt to thank you gentlemen. I keep getting knocked off line. Thank You very much. Those are a little better than what I was looking for. So, I am happy about the combination. I already own the parts, they are in my possesion. I just have to pull the engine and take it to the machine shop. Thanks again.

Sorry guy's, should have said to select 'open' instead of 'save' when downloading.
Are you trying to say this is why my computer screwed up when I downloaded that program?

My e-mail should work now...many of the parts are new...lot of odd and end crap...if interested send an e-mail and I will send a short list along with the desktop dyno data for your 418w.

Looks like the 23 hp and added tq was picked up using open exhaust and the rpm intake. who knows?

This program also says ported DO heads perform (or can) better than edelbrock performers. I hope what I have done to mine is simillar..haha. later

Keep in mind that the World Product heads are down at least 25 HP & 20 ft. lbs. of torque from the AFR's based on otherwise identical combinations running the same octane fuel. Now consider that the aluminum heads will allow about a full point more compression and or more timing advance worth quite a bit more power depending on the rest of the combo.

I know about the difference between the aluminum vs. the cast iron. I just figure that cast iron will probably be better in a truck than aluminum. If I happen to overheat with aluminum, there go the heads, but with cast iron, you just may be able to mill them to straighten them out. I appreciate the simulations, and the help.

JW I ran the simulation for kicks and giggles with the Edelbrock heads and wow what a difference. I did want to have the cast iron heads, but I think I will go with the aluminum ones. I see less problems with them also. I guess I will send the heads back to Summit for an exchange.

Will do. I don't know when I will pull the engine, but eventually it will get done.
