Keep in mind, I'm building for torque in the 2K to 4500 RPM range and letting the HP fall where it may.

According to EA (YES, I know these are wishadyno numbers) it's close to 491HP @5500 and 533TQ @4K.

I'm not looking for peak numbers, rather the TQ curve.
The AFR numbers I used are from AFR's web site. I know I could have made much more HP but this is the curve I like for the truck.
Here is a graph from EA.

I know what you mean, Seems like 5 degrees more cam, and slightly narrower lobe separation gave 3 more hp and peaked 500 rpm sooner and held for another 500 rpm. Also provided 15 lbfttq more at the same rpm. How does that adjustment affect the combo on the EA?

Only a red X shows up on my end.

Does anybody have the stock specs for the 302 cam that would be running around in my 94 Ford? I entered as close to stock as I could make it find, and it is returning that I have 231 Peak HP and 303 Peak Tq....and I think its the cam that is doing it.

Interesting is the fact that addition of headers and full 2.25" dual exhaust did little to nothing with EA....

All I have is what haynes states as lift at the lobe for .2375 int and .2474 exh. If you really wanted to know, a cam company that offers oe replacements, should have that information.

I uninstalled the program to narrow down another problem I am having. You might wanna remove/delete the folder and try it again from the beginning. I listed the following, which is every step I took to get the program working again...good luck

Go to 90f150moneypits website.

Right click on red EA analyzer link.

When it was complete I hit close.

Then went to desk top , found EA30 folder and RIGHT clicked on it then chose open

Then I RIGHT clicked on DISK 1 then chose open

Then I RIGHT clicked on the 13th icon, looks like an empty screen with INSTALL under it, chose open

then clicked open on the next window that popped up

clicked yes ...next ...yes ...next ...yes ...yes

couple errors popped up clicked okay, then clicked out of a screen listing info on the ea, then punched in a username and password, hit okay and its done.

You may wanna rethink installing this right now. I just double checked some things and when I downloaded this program it blocked my access to a few sites...again. Not sure why but just letting you know, do it at your own risk. good luck

I am not one that can get programs to work for me. I guess I must be challenged. Would somebody be as so kind as to assist me? Can you run my combination and help me get the most out of it, without any problems? I would appreciate it. 351W with Windsor Jr heads (58cc), Keith Black Silvolite Pistons (hypereutectic) 22 cc cup, Roller Rockers, Weiand Stealth Intake, Holley Truck Avenger 670 cfm, Hedmann Elite Headers, Jacobs Mileagemaster Ignition, Comp Cams Xtreme Energy 4X4 camshaft X4254H. Operating range 1200 to 5200 rpms, duration @ .050 Intake 210, Exhaust 218, valve lift w/1.6 rocker Intake .477, Exhaust .493. ARP Bolts. Reduced friction bearings, the rotating assembly is balanced. I really appreciate it.

I punched in world heads, it shows 10:1 comp, I thought that was high, so I punched in 9.5:1, not able to get specific with the gaskets and piston cc, you either punch in the overall cc (heads, cylinder, gasket) or guess. Its only 3-4 hp either way add if between 9.5 and 10 or subtract if between 8 and 9.5.

I was able to get to get something real close to elite headers, I used a dual 2 1/4" exhast as well.

Found a camshaft real close to the 4X4 comp, the comp XE256H-10 changed the lift and duration to match the 4X4 grind, which wasn't but a small amount, so the specs should be accurate.

NO weiand but I did find a performer rpm, don't have the stealth specs so I went with the performer rpm, close enough.

clicked low friction for the assembly as well. I am unable to copy or print the graph so I cannot show you the actual graph/ data but I will write down what I see:

.......horsepower.....torque
1500...59.................209
2000...102...............269
2500...144...............303
3000...180...............316
3500...222...............332
4000...254...............334
4500...271...............316
5000...262...............275
5500...237...............227
6000...201...............176

Average torque 276 and average horsepower 193. later

Thank you. Maybe before I bring the stuff to the machine shop I will get a bigger cam, I was looking for 300 plus horsepower and more torque. I don't want to go too big on the cam because I need the low end grunt. I want to be able to have the same power as the new trucks. Do you have any suggestions?

Thats a pretty basic combo you shouldn't have any problems.

I may be wrong but you should have 300hp with that combo. You could always use a better head.

On this program going from world jr to edelborck performer the hp and tq jumped.

peak tq 341 average tq 289
peak hp 300 average hp 210

If thats not enough for you there is afr 165's and if that doesn't satisfy you, stroke it to 393 and throw a bigger carb on it. I would figure out what heads you wanna run then get a cam to match it vs upping the cam without upping the head flow. later

Food for thought, I punched in the larger 4X4 cam and the hp and tq did not improve until after 4500-5000 rpm so going with a larger cam wouldn't be needed. I also punched in the specs for the stock 85 and later 351w cam, according to this program the results were very close to the cam you wanted me to run the first time. odd huh?

The performer were definitely better than the world jr though.

Man, I need to get online more often....Sorry guy's, should have said to select 'open' instead of 'save' when downloading.

Not knowing what bore size, head gasket size or deck height we can only guess at the compression.....

Well I ran the guessadyno and as JW did, used the RPM manifold. I used 9:0.1 CR and Jr's with the 4x4 cam. I came up with 320HP and 369TQ. A switch to the RPM heads got 346HP and 384TQ with the improvements happening between 2500 and 3K RPM and up. Both test's with open headers.

Are my graph's showing up for anyone?
