taz whats this i read in yesterdays paper on page 2 iowa has aproblem with mountain lions now? they showed a ford pickup of some farmer who road killed it.

There are getting to be more and more mt lions around here. There are 4 reported in my county,2 comfirmed by DNR. There has been reports of bears in north eastern Iowa too
I guess the climate changing is even messing with the animals LOL

Well capt... As far as deer numbers they are so large (numbers and size) its really hard to get an accurate count around here.... I think there is more deer in city limits around here than most states have in country wooded areas lol

i just pulled the paper deer estimates now range from 20 to 33 million with the largest amounts east of the big M ,then they go on to say conflicts can be expected soon in the suburbs of the east coast, that they can travel up to a 100 miles a night.oboy first coyotos now maybe m.l's

Its kind of funny, the deer around here, the average weight of a buck is 225 lbs field dressed (the ones I have gotten anyway) it seams other places they are alot smaller... They seam pretty agressive around here compaired to other places too
