I kind of like it. It was hard to get used to at first but I'm home everynight and get most of my city driving done before the bluehairs and the suits get on the road..
Who is worse blue hairs or suits? My vote goes for the suits
taz! it has to be the blue hairs when they drive watch out ! suits run em over
capt's here
Hi capt... Speaking of suits, Fri I was sitting at a red light, this suit pulls up next to me, has his laptop open on the passanger seat, coffe cup in his left hand, cordless shaver in his right hand and an open magazine onhis lap.. Thought it was kinda funny. If he would have caused and accident I'm sure he would have blames someone else..
yep its benn a slow one for sure, hunting ended yesterday , no luck other then my wife taking out one with our 85 stang gt, ski area a 1/4 mile away with the guns going all night have some words about that that we can't use here. how is every one ? looking foward to a nice weekend i hope.

taz. i think anyone who has driven a rig knows there are things we see up there they don't . drove for carretta for 6 years coast to coast. going though your neck of the woods so to speak on the interstate in a pete with a 1693 ta cat under it. saw some things that are unspeakable here you know what i mean. was a lot of fun any way untill 1980 sitting in yakama wa when saint helens blew up. my darker skined co driver turned snow white! i got paler as we thought abomb and kissed our sixes good by . boy what a trip out of there with all that dust
Sorry Cap, my weekend is done over with. But on the upside i may take off all next week and report in to the night shift thread by live remote from my house. Then I may work Christmas morning, I want too anyway. Sounds strange but i believe folks should be with theier wives and kids. Since I have neither I want to work that morning so my coworker can be with his wife and daughter.

I bet that would have made you lose a bit of color The worste I ever saw was a 7 car pile up with some poor guy on a motorcycle (who caused it) getting run over numerous times, finally a big truck finished him off, getting caught in his trailor duals it was, to say the least disgusting
good one bird! what are you using to hunt with rifle or shot? in nj we have to stay with a shot or black powder. i use a 1100 because of this bad shoulder
I have to work on Fri (double pay ) but Sat most places I go are closed so I cant work... Working Fri dont bother me since I really don't have any big plans

i think the worst i saw was on i 80 in west pa a 20 car and truck. trucker at the end in a cab over hit the back of a rig and bounced back he was stuck between what was left of the nose and steering wheel and seat coughing up blood like no tomorrow and all we could do was try and clam him untill! some thing like 15 miles back to the nearest exit helo could not get to him in time still see it today i saw it all happen going west it was on the east side.

Sat. for me will be double OT on top of Holiday pay, so actually triple pay. I think I can handle that for a day.
Anyway on Christmas my other coworker wants it for teh money, but the entire week afterwards we are still on the sme pay scale since the university shuts down but we still have to work. I am scheduled to work Mon. moring but I want to trade and work Christmas day so he can be at home with his family. My sister, bro. in law and nieces and nephew and mom and dad get together on Christams Eve, my moms side of the family gets together Christmas afternoon so for me to work Christmas morning wouldn't really disturb my holiday at all. Plus I coudl trade Monday for saturday and with the tie i may take off this week I will probably work 4 out of 14 days.
it dos not bother me eather way second wife and i have no kids so we don't care i allways let the the younger ones with kids have the day off us old farts"4 of us" have a easy day a few lofs and home, daughter from my late ex first is to far away so its just a phone call and a few emails back and forth. wanted to take the week off but boss said no i'm going you have to stay in command. i'll get my chance in late jan when i go to school for a few long days for the new vw golf/ jetta model coming out . as if we don't have enough problems with the old one allready with check engine lights. they have to come out with 2 brand new engine designs. a new 5 cyl. using a lambo v10 cyl head and a new direct injection 2.0 liter 4 cyl gas motor. with 207 hp
