Hi Rich thanks for the message! We'll have to get together sometime and look at each other's trucks!
I need to get my brake lights working and get her registered so I can't drive her much anywhere yet, but if you are passing through Marshfield again give me a holler!
Yes a FTE G2G (get 2 gether) of any sort sounds good. I need to work on both of the Ford trucks and then there is always work to be done on the 3rd one. We have not had a FTE Mo chapter G2G BBQ/meet up in quite a while. Work, life, kids, grandkids, covid, more life events and life moving at 100 MPH always seems to get in the way. Maybe this coming spring with enough heads up we can get a date set on the calendar. The tentative plan is probably for it to be at Alans place in Sparta, if he is not at a Monster truck show, fly his rig around.
Of course our local wildman Reebok shirt wearing "RC" drove a chevy and one other guy drove a Dodge...Lol. What ever runs, has gas and can make it is ok. Both those guys have Fords trucks in all state of work/repair/overhauls/restorations. We had a nice BBQ at the park by the Spg Zoo that day.
Another one just out side of Sparta a while back at a FTE members old shop. Next one will probably at his house since he has his own monster truck for the kids to enjoy. And us old kids also. I drove a Dodge that time...What is the world coming too?
This is what happened at one FTE G2G, Alan never disappoints. Even if it is only 10 people there.
Welcome to FTE and the Mo chapter. Check out your profile (user CP) and look at your visitor messages. Link to get signed up for the Missouri chapter is there.
I am trying to track down a new FTE member from Springfield that owns a sports bar/restaurant (in Spg) and owns a older (50's) Ford truck. See if we can come to his parking lot/place of buisness for a FTE G2G.

good evening missouri.. just got back from visiting ole BJ .. sure was good to visit even if it was kind of a short visit.. i was to tired to do much, but did get to see more of the 60 4x4 .. what i did see looked good as far as being easy to repair. i hope it is just a easy gasket replcement on the coolant leak...
howdy neighbor from the other side of the county seat.. i am just north of theodosia, can almost see me when crossing the theodosia bridge ha ha ha ha
ya'll have a good evening.. i think i will set down awhile and take a break....
Welcome to FTE!
There is this event that several of us are going to. Sure hope I have my oil leak fixed before then.
I’m hoping to have another truck in the next month or two. If so I’ll definitely make an effort to be there.
I was attempting to rebuild my first truck though back surgeries have kinda put me out of it. Been eyeballing a running/driving 78 crew cab so I can putt putt around a little!
