I'm about midway between St Louis and Columbia Missouri in Warren Co. Slinging mud on my 20 acres here and elsewhere when I get the chance. Fixing up my 1999 F250 SD 4x4 as time, money and weather permits. Cheers y'all !!
Welcome to the Missouri chapter. For sure stop by the monthly chat and BS thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...or-2025-a.html
I am creek crossing, concrete block course, tire, rock, pile of power pole, and culvert crawling in my back yard play ground I built. Are you mudding with your 99 or something else? You need to come down to SMORR some time. https://www.smorr.net/

Nice rig, I had a 92 reg cab, that is the only other body style I like.
Thanks! A Reg cab looks great with a short bed in my opinion. This has the 6.5’. It needs a lot of work. New hubs, u joints, seals in the tranny, possibly some rear end work. Slowly working on it. It has an electrical issue where the battery light on the instrument cluster is always on. It’s tough to track down why. Any ideas?
Here is a previous mud and fun Ford, my 1st blue 79 F250 I had. And my red 92 reg cab short bed 4wd, 302 5 spd, ran like a scalded dog with its tail on fire. And it still had manual hubs. I use to hammer that truck back and forth from Hollister Mo to Colorado Springs.
As far as the battery light staying on, code reader/OBD show any codes? Have you took the alternator off and had it load tested? Have you asked the 1987-1996 F150 FTE forum group? https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum28/
Have you been to Stutzman's in Highlandville just off Hwy 65? It use to be a walk around pick and pull. Now have to hit the counter and ask, and they they take you out there. You know that Alan aka Earthquake68 is over in Sparta. Alan the local monster truck legend. We use to have awesome G2G's at his shop.
