Hey all, I went muddin today to really test my Bronco. I have pics that I am going to put in my gallery so please take a look and let me know what you think. Also, I was driving to the spot when my truck started making a noise. It is coming for the tranny I think. When idling, it a constant ding, ding, ding, ect... When I take off it speeds up with the rpm's and when I hit 1500 rpm it stops. But as soon as I let off the gas the ding comes back. Is this a bad tranny or torque converter??
i went out today for the first time in the mud. the bronc is now brown it was at the spot where they filmed part of the movie "Men of Honor" its a local beach and i found some good ruts to rip through.
went up a hill climb a lil too fast and got the front tires off the ground....still have a headache.
didnt break anything (thats always a plus) although my power steering seems to be out for the moment.
its happened before with mud puddles....the power steering will go out, and about 10-15 seconds later its back, but this time its not.... the fluid level is ok, maybe the fluid is bad? a belt? i dunno.
