Door ajar buzzer

I've been watching all these videos on YouTube and I have noticed that my door buzzer is different than everyone elses. Mine is just a generic "BZZZZZZZZ" that gets really annoying compared to everyones classic ford "ding ding ding". Esspecially when it comes on each time I start the truck too. At first I thought all newer model F150s had the buzz since our 90 has the Ford ding but I've heard newer trucks with the Ford ding now. Is there anyways I can replace the buzzer so it will have the classic Ford ding?

Go get yourself a dinger from a junkyard. My 92 F250 was a Custom- basically an XL with a chrome bumper and mirrors and it had the buzzer. My 95 is an XLT and has the dinger... I would have thought the XLT's would all have the dinger. Maybe a previous owner didn't like it and replaced it with a buzzer?

i wanna say that they changed to the "ding" in 1994, thats when alot of upgrades happened i.e Third Brake Light, Airbag, CFC Free A/C, new firing order for the 302, so im guessing they changed some other minor things such as the door chime

Or just pull it off and leave the harness empty. The nice thing about the electronic "ding" module is that it has a tone when you leave your lights on and open the door, instead of just seatbelt and key in ignition. But if you remember to turn your lights off, just go with no warning buzzer.

My buzzer has a real nice sound to it! I pulled it out, placed it on the ground, Took a 3# sledge to it! Silence!

Behind the lower dash, above the throttle to the right a little. About 4x4 square. you will feel it buzzing when you touch it.
