Did you let it warm up? I saw were it's pretty cold up there. Not all those horse's are awake at first. I have to agree with cookie. Something just doesnt' sound right. Any way to check the boost?
It could be possible that I wired it shut. He took it to the woods today and I haven't heard if he had any trouble with the truck. I have to go over to his house tomorrow, if he stays home, and hook it back up, but if it didn't give him any trouble then I am going to leave it alone. It's kind of a bugger to hook it back up because it is in a place you really can't see, or reach.
The temp yesterday was around 40 degrees not too cold but maybe enough to make a difference.
Also,a stupid question, do these newer trucks have o-rings in the fuel line connections, I had to take the fuel lines apart to pull the engine, and now there is a fuel leak from down on that part of the engine. To be honest I think this truck hates me, or is possessed.

Yep, it is a PITA to reach. Taking loose the charge air cooler hose helps some. If you do decide to leave it disconnected be sure to unplug the solenoid, if it is left to cycle without the valve supporting the other end it will develop a leak at the pedestal fairly quickly.

You mean the push lock connectors that use A/C disconnect tools? I don't have any idea. I assume there is an o-ring of some sort behind the spring, but I wouldn't have the first clue how to service it.
Went today and checked the truck out, my bro-in-law said that even with the flap unhooked it still howls, but his one helper said that the truck runs good, no howling. Unhooked the solenoid also when I was there and talked to him he might take it to a dealer and see if they can figure it out, it still smokes like a smokestack, tho, it did before we started the work on it.
I'm kinda stuck on ideas on this truck as far as the engine goes, any other ideas would help, I feel bad that I can't figure it out, but what is a guy to do.
Thanks guys for all of your help and ideas.
