Sorry to dump on ya 578. A guys gotta do some of that mental mastur***ing once in a while to try show credibility, right? Well used, huh? I'll remember that! When you mentioned the 35 year old yesterday I thought KEWL!!!! Oh...he's dissin' me .....

You service IBM mainframes, huh? Next time I need the oil changed or memory rotated on mine I'll be sure to look you up!!!

Oh yeah, stick to the subject.......

CR Laurence Powersliders for Ford Superduty:
AZTruck.com $429.95 + $15 frt.
Part Number PSC998S

If you have an existing factory slider you'll need to purchase a new seal for the solid glass only. The OE slider seal has channels molded into it that won't work with an aftermarket slider.

OK, so I said $300-400.....I was thinking CA dollars.....forgot to convert to Arizona dollars.
Again, whoever gets one of these, install this yourself!!! If you must have it installed, I would refuse to pay for anything more than an hour labor, total!

V10, you were dumping on me? Now, that's not polite! Show credibility huh? Who would doubt the veracity of your statements? Not I. Besides, like I said, I like the CRL stuff.

"When you mentioned the 35 year old yesterday I thought KEWL!!!! Oh...he's dissin' me ....."

Me dissing you? Noooooo! Not me! Are there any cooler types out there than people who would lift a 2WD? I think not!

Hey, why did you stop making the little vent windows? I really liked those things on my 1994.

Actually never worked for CRL, worked for the company that was bought by CRL. They do make a pretty good product though.

The company I worked for back in the '80's made those vent windows for Ford. I think the installed cost was about $50 per vehicle X 550,000 F-series per year (early '90s)=$27,500,000 per year. That's just for vent windows! I think it was more a cost saving move than anything else. Was also a constant quality issue; a very touchy window to keep from leaking. Then, if you kept it closed too long, like all winter, the seal would outgas and bond itself to the glass. When a window like that leaks, it drips into the interior. When a sunroof, side window, or rear slider leaks, all the water drains back out the vehicle through drain slot, tubes, whatever.
I recall a Ford engineering test when the vents did leak a little during testing...it said to close all windows (duh) and turn the vent onto 'high' to pressurize the cab. If the leak stopped, it was good to go.

Something to ponder......In the SD forum I saw somebody griping about the glove box light being removed on the '04's. Let's see....$1.12 X 600,000 glove box lights.............holy bonus time!!!!!! Hey guys!!!!! look what we can save!!!!!
