A few weeks ago my truck started dying on long trips. I just pull over and have no problems restarting. For reading the forums, it sounded like the cps I then confirmed that it was by reading the trouble codes w/ SCMT. I'm going to try to replace the CPS myself. where is it located, and how difficult is it to replace? Any info? thanks

It's at 10 o'clock above the harmonic balancer. It has a 2 wire plug and takes a 10mm wrench or socket to remove. I think it is the tightest bolt on the truck.
Just recently changed mine........... its kinda difficult to reach with your socket wrench you may need to loosen up your serpentine belt to access it more freely............ its easier to get at it from underneath the vehicle than from under the hood ......... took me about half an hour at night using a flashlight....... could probably do it again during daylight in about 15 to 20 minutes.
