It does not appear to me that your truck has a lift on it.
As far as fords rims sucking? That mustang is designed to do 2 things. Drive down public streets and sell as many of them as possible. If you are concerned about racing a stock mustang. Your last concern is going to be an extra 150 pounds of wheels. If that.
Having just put a set of 295 - 45/18's on four original 2001 Lightning rims I get no rubbing on my '97 Reg-cab Flareside when turning sharp. As well, I was expecting to have to lower my 4x2's original rather high stance due to the taller rims, but I kinda like the look. On both accounts I was pleasantly surprised. Watch for pics coming soon.
BTW, In November, '00 they switched from a 12mm stud to a 14mm. Just a heads-up!

34x10.50x16 tires will fit on my bone stock '97 F150 4x4 with NO rubbing. The torsion bars have never been touched either...still plenty of threads showing. I have been running 285/75/16 (33x11.50x16) for over a year now with no rubbing. It's been through a lot of fourwheeling as well...
i didn't get the chance to read eveyones post in here (i'm at work) but the first couple i saw are saying the 285/75/16 are the biggest for a non lifted truck, i have 305/70/16's on my truck with no rubbing at all, same height, but a little wider. i think thats the biggest you can probably go.
