I try search here and google it seem there are no chart for this 302.
Can you help me find chart.
Reason why we want chart since 5.4L to freedom have been talk about affect from big tires with gear plus engine to find what good mpg at rpm when in torque peak.
And is there chart for 306? Engine I have been overbore to .30
I don't have a chart but suffice it to say the 5.0 needs to be turning over 2000rpm before it makes any decent amount of TQ and the peak at 3000rpm is still only about 270ft/lbs. For larger tires gear the vehicle to achieve the same total final drive ratio as it would have with 3.73 and 28" tires.
A generic 302 hp/torque chart isn't going to do much for you.
Is your engine close to stock specs? If so, you can find the published torque and HP numbers. Since the formula for torque and HP is known, and you can do it on line even, you can at least get the lines for the two peaks plus approximate 5252 rpm, plus estimate numbers below the torque peak.
For peak MPG, I've always heard to run the engine at 80% of the torque peak. If your 302 peaks at 2400 rpm for torque, it's a good bet it has at least 80% by 2000 rpm, so cruise around that rpm would probably be best, depending on load and how much throttle it takes to pull the load at that speed.
Here are some numbers for 302s and others, not sure of the accuracy but they look right:
