6" Suspension lift, Tire size??

I am planning on getting a 6" suspension lift for my 2000 f250. i am trying to figure out if i should get 37" tires. will they fit. what would the max size be if i wanted to get tires for that 6" lift. i found this chart -

http://www.explorerprocomp.com/PDFs/07cat/130-131.pdf

but it said 35 was the biggest??

I wouldn't put too much merit in that fitment guide. It says that a 2005-2007 Super Duty can run 16" wheels... wrong. It says that you need 2" lift to run 33" tires... wrong. I'm running 33" tires from the factory with stock suspension. Hopefully others will chime in soon.

Depends on what you're doing with the truck. Hardcore wheeling is only going to fit a 35" in there without major rubbing. It may fit if your wheeling is limited. I'm running a 6.5" lift with 37x13.50 on 17's (Toyo M/T's) and have mild rubbing on full steering lock. I don't wheel like I used to but any rubbing I've ever had has been on the leaf springs.

By the way, I have a 6.5" pro comp lift on my '00 and it's garbage. I bought it like 5-6+ years ago though so I'm sure they've made significant improvements since then. At least I hope they would've.....

Get 37" tires man! You'll regret it if you don't. Worst thing you will have to trim your valence. Besides those guys aren't gonna tell you a tire size that could possibly damage your truck in any way just to cover them.

It's a never ending cycle. With an 8" you can comfortably fit 38's.

Nothing big. Its just not the best. There were a few holes that had to be elongated to allow the piece to bolt up like the track bar drop bracket. He ordered a 4" & got 6" front springs. I had to use some old u bolts I had & stack 2 blocks to get him going for the night, till they could send the correct stuff.
