Hey Rich,

To be totally honest, I have no idea what I would buy. It would be nice to see a study of the same truck with various chips/tuners installed and EGT and horsepower ratings posted for everyones knowledge. (If anyone knows of such a study, please post a link) Then it would be easy. Unfortunatley no two trucks are alike and even if you ask a poll, it's tough to compare apples to apples.

You're in a good place for knowldege, just keep digging. Even a 40hp tune is a noticable improvement over stock, and I don't come close to 1250 with it. So in my opinion, a little tune is better than no tune at all. I think if I end up changing, I'll go with a multi-bank chip that you can switch on the fly. Just don't know which one yet.
