On the driver's side about a foot and a half down on the firewall you'll see a box sticking through. It can be ID'd by the fact that it has a wiring harness bolted to the center of it with a 10 mm bolt. The side of the box will have a white sticker on it. Its a 4 digit code on that sticker, the largest font. You may need a small mirror to see it, its cramped in there.
We'll work this out, Diablo views this as a very important product in their line and I've been touch with Patrick at Diablo about the issue --- we'll get it solved and I'm quite sure everyone will be pleased with the outcome.
I have not gotton the ECM code as of yet. I will get it tuesday. But, I downloaded the High Altitude program for kicks today and it ran really well. The power was equal to the "Original 40 Horse tune" with very little smoke and crisp shifts. Hard to tell on fuel mileage yet but it seemed to be way better. I need to drive it more but that program was great. I wish Diablo supplied us with more info about that specific tune, HP etc....... Can you find out more about what the High Altitude tune is? We still need to work out the other bugs but that program seems really good. thought I would just give you that info....
Doesnt it suck driving it around stock now!!!! I am inclined to take it out of Hi altitude mode till we know more too. I am however being really easy on the truck till I know whats up. I wish I would have not gotton the update.............I really liked the previous tunes and they worked well with my ECM.
Hi-altitude mode is the safest mode on the programmer. Its designed to have the lowest EGTs of all the tunes. The only feedback I've gotten at this point from Diablo, with the time I have these days (I've spent 11 hours so far this week at appointments) is that they MUST know the PCM code to even begin looking into it.

Your manicure and massage don't count! j/k
As Scott noted, I sent my pcm code awhile back. I also know that you're busy, and I appreciate your efforts as well. It's just frustrating not being able to use my tuner.
Did you retrieve your ecm number on the inside down by the ebrake or under the hood. What exactly did you do? I tried to look under the hood with a mirror and its next to impossible...
Under the hood. I took a small mirror and angled it down alongside the ecm on the inside, toward the center of the engine compartment. There's a small sticker on there and the code is fairly easy to see, the only problem I had was figuring out how to read it backwards and upside-down.
It's a fairly tight squeeze, but it really only took a few minutes.
I have stayed in the High altitude mode for the last 10 days. I have to tell you, it really is a great tune. I have been getting 16 to 18mpg with winter fuel! (been adding cetane boost too) There is not much smoke and the shifts are the best Ive had with any tuner. I get a very slight turbo stall but its barely noticeable at all. I wish you could find out more about that tune. Horsepower, torque etc...... As far as the other tunes, 40 horse, it still smokes and the shifts are weak. The 60 horse, smokes alot and weak shifts....all the tunes I have tried the power is noticeable.
Let me know what you want me to do Ken. I love that one tune but its all I can use right now.
