Perhaps ford should have used the fuel pump from the 11 through 2016 6.2 engines.
Absolutely zero issues until 2017.

It's the fuel pump more then likely. We have two trucks at work that were having hard start issues and it got to the point they would barely start even when cold. Fuel pumps failed the leak down test and were replaced. Trucks fire right up every time now
