Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 44 under clear blue sky at Alpha.
Heading off to Salem in a few minutes to ge the frame mount camper tie downs and the Lance Plug wired into the pickup.
Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just hanging out at Alpha waiting for the RV shop to tell us the pickup is ready. Also being lazy and trying to get the last of the food poisoning and blaze' feeling that has been lingering out of my system..
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 450 is all set up now with the camper tie downs and the proprietary Lance Plug that has the heavier gauge wire via circuit breaker from battery/alternator to power distribution center in the camper.
Now I just have to figure out how much heavier the 450's tail gate is and how I'm going to handle it when I take it off.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 49 with a solid (for now) Marine Layer overhead here at Alpha. Getting ready to head down to Riverside for the Wednesday morning old cop breakfast get together.
Howdy Wayne, @cowboylogic57 ! How's the hip doing? Getting close to the next square dance?
Hope you recover quickly.
Morning all. Looks like some nice weather around here. We head out Saturday to dodge tornado's and hail. Supposed to some flooding over there through Saturday. Already checked with insurance company, rental car is covered if totaled. Should be interesting.

Yeah, It's well over 100lbs. I could do it by myself but it wasn't easy at all. Getting it back on is really a 2 person job. Add in the wiring you have to fish around and through, it took me longer to take the tailgate on OR off than to load the camper. I found it frustrating to say the least. The 2000 f350 was a piece of cake compared to the new trucks.

And the last thing I want to do is drop it. Trying to come up with a couple of plans. I have forks for the bucket on the tractor. Thinking of those with a piece of quilt covered plywood or a Hydraulic lift table. I'll have to be doing this 85 to 90% on my own. The Warden isn't much help and sometimes more of a hinderance, or at least was on the 2011.
Evening Ford Tinkerer's.
Renee fell and broke her hip today, currently in Providence Seaside ER waiting for transfer to ST. Vincent for hip replacement surgery.
That's a bummer!! I hope she gets along OK. Mine was scheduled, and was basically uneventful. Pain level was less than before surgery. I'm healing up nicely...still using a walking stick, but probably only for a few more days. Prayers for you guys.
