Auto high beam and multifunction switch

So my auto high beam works for a while then just stops then starts working again. My delay on my wipers does not work properly, so I guess my questions start with are they related, does the auto high beam use the multifunction switch or does it bypass it?
What to check next. I know I need a new multifunction switch, could that fix both issues? Truck is a 2016 lariat
Thanks

AHB request is sent from the IPMA to the SCCM, the SCCM then requests the high beam to the BCM. The turn signal stalk wont effect the AHB function unless it’s so bad it’s turning on your high beams or flash to pass randomly and that till temporarily turn off AHB control.

I had to replace the multifunction switch a few years ago, as my wipers would come n as soon as I started the truck. It was a very simple procedure.

Thank you. If it is random like this any suggestions? Dealer probably won't be able to replicate it to diagnose it. Probably the camera? It is 10 years old?

It starts out intermittent, then gets worse. Here's a link to my thread.

I was not clear, I can swap the switch, my concern is the auto high beam as the truck is about out of warranty and those cameras are expensive. But the auto high beam is random on when it doesn't work.
And I doubt that with it being intermittent that the dealer can replicate the issue.

Where is the sensor for oncoming headlights? Up in the grill somewhere? What happens when it's covered in snow and/or winter grit?

The AHB sensor is the camera at the top of the windshield that also does Lane Keeping Assit/Warning

Thank you. I got a camera obstructed warning momentarily today. I will see how the lane keep works. Maybe by the time I take it in, it will leave a track the can find, or be more often having issues.
Thank you for helping me understand it
