I drive my 2021 F-150 XLT three miles down a rural one lane road early each morning to get to the highway. By design, I have to manually turn the high beams on at such low speeds. Once I turn on the highway, and reach highway speeds, the high beams do not revert back to Auto High Beams. To get the Auto High Beams to work I have to switch the headlight switch to the On position, then back to Auto to reengage the Auto High Beam feature.
It seems this should happen automatically. Am I missing something?

After you cycle the column switch for hi / low beam, deactivating auto high beam, switch again to low beam and one more time to reengage auto-high beam.

Just keep it in Auto mode and hit the high beam when needed.
It’ll take a few seconds but the auto high beam system will switch to the auto mode after driving a bit but if it’s not soon enough for you, once you hit the column to turn them off, it’ll be in auto mode and act normally.

They never have before. I drove 15 miles this morning at highway speeds and they never switched back to Auto. That’s the reason for my post.
