Steering column replace
Have a 06 350 SD XLT and she's been doing fine. I stopped to dump some yard debris, go to fire it back up a few minutes later, DEAD. Nothing. Never happened before. After a good hour and a half, she started right up. Another week goes by, bam. Happened again. This time i noticed that i couldnt hear the glow plugs warming up. My shifter has been getting more and more play over the past year. So I held the shifter up thinking that it wasnt engaging into Park all the way, and she started up...
My question is (I'm positive I need a new column, but which do i need? Im pretty sure i need the 5 speed auto with tilt and cruise, but it has 6 speeds really... But for parts sake, its the 5 speed auto, right?
But then Im coming across other XLT models at B&R that have the 4 speed...
Help...

I'm gonna check it right now...
Do you know of any diagrams or breakdowns of the steering column?
Now the truck WILL NOT start at all. Feels like the shifter is about to fall out...
