If I saw a rattlesnake anywhere near me, I would probably die of a heart attack.

Shoot it. You have a CCW. You're in fear for your life, and the safety of those around you.

You honestly think I could hit something as small and thin as a rattlesnake? You have more confidence in my ability than I do.

My 7 year old nephew figured it out. He's not so good in school, with reading, writing, and arithmetic. His smarts are in life skills. He is observational. He pays attention to things that other kids are obviously to. The kid told me that he knew what I was doing. All the food is cooked the same way. "You just add a different sauce, and call it something different." The 7 year old figured out the difference between my BBQ pork, and Chinese BBQ pork. There are adults who don't know that.

Don't come up here. We have rattlesnakes all the time. We keep a snake grabber next to the front door.

It's red meat. Just like beef. Sear it and serve it rare or medium. Roasted just like a roast beef. Slow cook it until tender. I like lamb shank braised like osso bucco. Ground lamb for burgers, meat *****, and meat loaf.

Men's retreat at our church Friday 4:30pm sign in, until 4pm Saturday. Then the head of maintenance asked me if I wanted to stay overnight Saturday until Sunday morning because there will be a lot of equipment left outside. Last Monday there was a huge water leak from a burst pipe, and it flooded about half of building A, so Sunday's service will be at the amphitheater which is still being built but is finished enough to host it. The pastor wants to use a vehicle for one of the games on Saturday, see which team can remove and reinstall a tire. I volunteered my truck, since I still have not put that brand new lug nut on yet. One of the church members is bringing a torque wrench so when it is over all of the lug nuts will be torqued to spec. Going to have to Google it as I don't usually worry about stuff like that. Every place I have ever taken it to uses an impact wrench.

Notable cars on the trip included Drew's '66 Big Block Cobra, a '68 GT350 Paxton Supercharged convertible, a '67 GT500, a '68 GT350, a '06 FGT, and a '13 Super Snake.

Cool Place, and the event sounds fun!

Now you need a new roadside tire change kit.

I took the Bronco out on a solo run looking for deer and photography opportunities. Things were going well until the USFS road/trail got too hairy for a solo trip. As I made a 3 point turn, the Alt. light came on and steering got heavy (BTDT before). After getting turned around and back over the obstacles I’d crawled over, I stopped in the middle of the trail (crest of ridge) and popped the hood. A burnt sapling had gotten pulled up dislodging the fan belt and fouling the fan. I removed the tree and re-threaded the belt and retraced my path because both routes were not passable. It’s funny how a line picked moving forward is easy to drive, but a gold plated SOB in reverse.

Made it home, but found that I’d broken the passenger’s side front turn signal lense and bent the CB antenna. In all it was a good run even though I cut it short.
