The World Series gets a game 7.

That "dead ball" was interesting.

Pretty exciting way to end the 9th inning.

This furthers my distaste of Los Angelinos and Canadians.

Jim, no clue. Don’t even have cable or streaming sports. If I want to watch baseball, it’s on dvd (sand lot, Major League, The Natural,….) 😜

I got the Diesel back from the body shop. S
It looks good, but I have to follow up on on missing item. No mud flap. 😕

For Rob, Costco had their bulk packs of tri-tip for $7.99/lb. Just finished processing a pack into 3/4”-1” thick steaks with the trimmings becoming stew meat. This should last us until the February pay check.

Safeway had pork picnic for $1.99 lb. That's the upper front arm and shoulder that is next to the pork butt. It's like a big pork drumstick. It's an amazing piece of meat, for a value price - which is no longer a value. It was $0.99 lb. So the price has doubled.

I made a Tri Tip for The Game. It's just so soft and tender. The secret California steak. I can't believe that in the rest of the world, they simply throw it in the grinder.

the Mrs and I went to College in SLO in the early ‘90’s EVERY cookout was tri-tip or top block. After we married in 2000, we visited family in the Mid-West and they were gushing about this great new cut of beef, tri-tip. We were looking forward to something different when visiting rather than the cookout staple. And they didn’t even have Santa Maria style Pinqito beans to go with it, just baked beans.🤦🏼‍♂️

Last month we bought two Costco Pork Loins that we cut into chops. Our normal M.O. is to over buy, divide, and freeze to carry us through a couple of months. Habits from family that only get paid once a month (even now). Surprisingly an easier habit to follow compared to when I was paid weekly.

It sounds like you need to raise a few goats. They give goat milk. Goat skin is very valuable. Then you can eat the goat meat.

No, he is not. Didn't care enough to watch any of the games. Giants weren't there so...

wont work in my municipal subdivision. We sit on an 1/8 acre inside city limits which doesn’t allow livestock ad no more than 3 hens. Didn’t do chickens because of the bird dog.

The son and I raked leaves by removing all but the main stems on the privet. Completely filled my folks utility trailer about 4’ deep.

Which furthers my prejudice against Canadians. They couldn't BEAT LA.

Not how I wanted to start the Month of November.

I missed the end of Game 7 since I was at a Halloween Party, which was pretty epic BTW. Probably 100 people and everyone was in costume. Our host was the Pope lol. I was a Spanish Fly. Live band, taco truck, and a bartender made for a great evening. The venue was my buddy's "barn" on his 175 acre ranch about 400 yards from my house.

Dumb and Dumber got shaved on Saturday. It's always amusing to see how small Archer is when he gets shaved. When he's fluffy, people call him fat. He's the one on the left. His brother Rip is on the right and here they were rifling through the toy bin.

What a way to start the month of November. Those lucky dogs got a little trim. Just in time for cooler weather.

Elsewhere in November , in the animal kingdom:

Those ding-dongs have the ability to go inside at any time. They'll be fine for the winter.

I don't blame that lady at all. I'd be shootin' the **** outta infected monkeys if they were in my yard.
