I just keep my immune system strong by never bathing or cleaning myself up. I heard it helps. Maybe that's why I'm single I'm just kidding you know, I wash my hands every Sunday

Never used to get sick- would go for years without a cold myself.

Then my daughter started school and now the whole family is sick every few weeks for the entire winter.

What a drag.

when i do get a cold, i do NOT take medications or anything for it. this lets my body fight the cold by itself, without help or treatment for symtoms.

i try not to 'bundle up' when its cold. letting your body adjust to the ambient temperature as much as tolerable lets your body achieve its own balance. try not to be 'constant'...when its summer, let your body feel the heat occassionally...when its winter, feel the cold. this is for those times (or people) when youre indoors too much.

listen to your body. eat what you crave, not your habit. dont drink too much milk and try to avoid salt/sodium and eat as little grease as possible.

last but not least, use BUTTER not margarine!

works for me...i never get sick. my philosophy is that my body was created by God, and any manipulation by the balances He has put in place would only compound harmful variable possibilities

The key is stay away from kids. The wife and I rarely got sick before we had kids. Once our two boys were born and started school, we seemed to catch every disese known to man. Kids are a germ sponge bringing diseses we never heard of home.

I take vitamins regularly etc and even used to take a lot of C but nothing seemed to make a difference about whether we would get sick.

Like the old saying goes, drink plenty of fluids, eat well get bed rest and your cold will go away in 1 week. Do nothing and it will go away in 7 days.

Get your flu shot and pneumonia shot, that seems to help lessen the number of illnesses we catch. Wash your hands a lot.

Just my opinion.

To prevent getting a cold I take L-Glutamine, an amino acid found in red meat. By supplementing this, it builds my immune system. Haven't had a cold in I don't know how long. Recent studies have found that vit. C isn't as effective as once thought. L-glutamine is/has been proven effective.

Live in a bubble, avoid all contact with the outside world. Like that wealthy nutcase, the one who made the "Spruce Goose" airplane.

I can't remember his name.
