Its 18 degrees at my house. I know thats not cold to some folks but for the mid south its cold. At least we didn't get the ice storms the states west of us did.

We hit 28 yesterday. I don't know what the wind chill was but I know it was cold. I hate winter. My job requires me to work in warm houses & outside all day. I get warm & have to run back out in the cold. It easy to keep a cold all winter.

Supposed to rain for several days here. Got two+ feet of snow on shop and need it rained off so we can recover it as I am tired of tripping over drip buckets.

Winter - the great cleanser. Washes away the dust and the filth of last year and leaves the earth fresh and pristine to start over. Love it.

It was in the mid 60s here on Monday and we had the window open all night.
Woke up yesterday at 4:00 a.m., the temp was still 62°.

Today . . . somebody left the freezer door open, outside. It was 25° at 4:00 a.m., and it's only gone up to 31° as of this post.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Somebody close the freezer door!!!!!!!

(At least I don't have to shovel snow, yet.)

Seven below (farenheit) when I woke up this morning. It's up to plus 3 now, but it's gotten windier so it's more uncomfortable than earlier. I think the wind chill is somewhere around -15.
