Good Sunday morning y’all , weather was changing here , it’s been cool 54 mornings with 76 afternoons, but now supposed to get up in the high eighties, still perfect fishing weather , the coho are headed up stream , the only problem I have is I have to go to work everyday , my wife has been making salsa, bolognese, and spaghetti sauces from our garden, like every year, too many tomatoes, yellow squash and zucchini, she’s been purdy creative with the zucchini bread , other years with our orchard she’d make brandy soaked raisin persimmon bread and jalapeño / pomegranate jelly, this year the eggplant was coming in nicely, so making a lot of eggplant Parmesan , well that’s about it from the produce isle , have a productive week y’all .
In The City, we have a lot of local markets. Mostly serving immigrants. Russian, Arab, Asian. Jewish, Italian, Latin.....
I don't know who they buy from, but their meat and seafood sections have goat, live fish swimming in tanks, and other food you don't get at Safeway. I like picking up the produce. Stuff you only see at farmers markets. Today, I found jujube.
They changed our forecast. Tomorrow was supposed to be 98 but now they are saying 101. I will be working security at the church/school from 9am until 2:30 or so, but also going back tomorrow night for a 6pm Bible study. Guess I will take the truck and enjoy the AC.
