Looking good!

Might be getting this in a couple of months. 18-foot Thor Wanderer, 2003. AC, Fridge, microwave, potty, three pop-outs all can fit a queen size bed. Going to be auctioned in less than 60 days. Tow company says nobody ever bids on trailers, so I might get it for $200-300. If not, no big deal. Helping a friend keep it, since it was impounded by Fresno PD after the property owner where the trailer was decided to tow it out into the street. They want over $1,00 now but told her to wait until it goes to auction and have someone, she trusts buy it. She said she doesn't know if she wants to keep it because she doesn't know where she will put it. So, I told her if she doesn't want it, I'll buy it from her.

Just in case anyone is interested, Crescent wrenches are now coming from India. I don't know if that's good or bad. Just another item that is no longer Made In USA. But that's not news. Most tools are now made in some other country. Interesting that the factories are now in India.

I don't know what Andy is going to do. He already kicked his girlfriend out to save money on his PG&E bill. He might have to move out as well.

Haha, yeah I'm going to get a treadmill for the dog and hook up an alternator to it.

The new trend is sous vide. Although I haven't invested in it, fearing that it's a passing fad. It reminds me of "oven bags", which nobody remembers.
I don't know about that. Some friends invited us over for a breakfast several years ago, and the did bacon in the sous vide. It was not "crisp", but it was cooked, and it was really, really good.

I don't know about high electric bills, but I do know about high food bills. I bought four items at Walmart this morning. A gallon of white milk, a gallon of chocolate milk, a 30 pack of Austin peanut butter and cheese crackers, and a 10 pack of grape encrustables. $24.15! Ridiculous...

No, and you won't. I have canned goods already in my cupboard, and they last a long time. I have green beans and peaches in cans. So I did not buy them. I go through a lot of milk in a week, so that is usually what I buy.

No worries, mate.
On another topic a friend of mine told me about the cool air rebate program here in good old California. So, I applied and have been approved. It is a program that will repair a vehicle's air conditioner and pays 80% of the bill for qualified repairs. Mainly they want to fix AC's that are leaking refrigerant into the air.
I don't know if mine does that, but now that I am approved, I just need to find a local shop that will diagnose the system. I have already entered my zip and called the closest one but got his voicemail. There is a Pep Boys in Clovis that also works with this program, so I will call them and make an appointment. Of course, even if everything goes well and it is fixed, it looks like the heat wave is over for now as none of the ten day forecast temps are showing over 100 degrees. However, I don't care. I will have a working AC for next summer at 80% off!

*UPDATE* I have a 9am appointment with Pep Boys. And since the rebate only covers leak repairs, I am praying that is what my system has, a leak.

Jowel bacon in a pot chili is the award winning recipe, you heard it first right here on FTE
now back to my ford , my labor slammed my tail gate with a metal frame that I had in the bed , it was in to tight it was crunched in between the tool box and tailgate , I bent my handle the first couple of try’s of opening , , well today was the day to reset the all thread to plastic connection, , it’s better but it needs a bit more , couple more turns and should be good to open again with one hand and not two while pushing the gate in too , have a great weekend y’all .

My truck is mad at me again. Yesterday while helping my roommate get her 7-year-old son over here for the weekend the cruise control stopped working. It worked while on the way to pick her up, but then wouldn't work when going to get her son, or on the way home from picking him up. Strange. And the brake warning light has started going off again. I'm not concerned about that, but it makes no sense that the CC would stop working.
