That is a good starting point. There should also be a power wire somewhere to the key switch which is on your hand written paper diagram.

Thanks again for all help. The third wire from the ignition switch does to this "junction" type box. This is the power wire. What is the function of these "Junction" Boxes of wires.

The thing in your hand appears to be the circuit breaker assembly which is customarily attached to the gauge cluster:

I drained the oil and removed the oil filter cartridge. Should the oil in the housing have drained? It still have oil in the housing. Is there a plug in that as well or do I need to suck that out? Or maybe there is sludge and clogged?

I use a turkey baster to suck out the oil in the cartridge housing.

Was able to get oil out of oil filter housing with oil extractor. Took off front wheel. Brake pads expand when I press the brakes. Brake pads seem ok. Anything else I can do while I have the the wheel off. Can I spring the interior with wd 40?

Big fat NO on WD40 in the brakes. You don't want anything that would contaminate the brakes or eat seals with distillates, oils or silicones or anything slippery. If you want to clean up in there, you can use a garden hose (let it dry thoroughly before reassembly) or compressed air if you're sure the brake dust is asbestos free.

I'm really looking forward to the first engine start. You might want to video the event. Good luck with your truck!

What were these holes for. I assume the top was for a spot light?? What might the bottom been for? Also what would be the bestt side view mirrors for this truck?

I'd say the top was for a spotlight like you said. The bottom might have been for an antenna.

There is a good mirror discussion in this thread that shows what was stock and some ways to get close to that: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post21097374

You can also make a request list for the great parts safari here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ts-safari.html

Underneath all that rust, poor patching and bondo should be a seam between the lower fender and the gravel valance, with a notch for the frame horn end to protrude through, that the bumper would bolt to. You'll need to make the repairs and unmodify the damage in the sheet metal, and repair/replace the frame ends, or make some other suitable bumper bracket, to install a bumper.
