You and every other guy that has one of these trucks. They just aren't out there. The right side mirror was a very rare, over the counter accessory option. In nearly 50 years of playing with these old trucks, I've never seen one in real life. But if you do happen to find a stash, let me know, I'd like one too. There was a discussion on this subject just the other day. Good luck with your search.
FYI, that is not a stock mirror head. Stock ones are round approximately 5 or so inches in diameter.
21CS-17718-B (later 1C-17723-A) would be the stock style used on Ford trucks 44-52. These are also listed under ****** part number WO-A-11850 and WO-A-2934. I think some vendors are using United Pacific C476903B and C477202 Mirrors against these original part numbers. Dennis Carpenter lists them under D1C-17723.
As for the arm, United Pacific 60021 is a reasonable facsimile.
Here is a breakdown again:
I'm guessing getting the 7C-17708 and related from Chucks Trucks LLC as recommended last time you brought this up didn't work out?
I picked up some adjustable arm 5 inch round mirrors on eBay for something like $75.00:
The two that were purchased are in the middle. An original is on the outside right, and on the left is something picked up from a scrap yard. The mirrors that were purchased are meant for a classic ****** Jeep and came from India. I was satisfied with the quality.
I kept the cheesy rectangle mirror heads I had been using as a concession to old age and the need for better vision.
Good luck.
Jim
P.S. It was necessary to cut one of the ends off each arm so the original door hinge mounting hardware could be used for installation..

What I bought off eBay did not have the correct hinge bracket. It had instead hardware for attaching to the actual door (or maybe the cowl) of a Jeep. I think 53-56 F100's attach in a similar fashion. F1's, however, use a bracket that attaches to the hinge pin.
I added a right side mirror and replaced drivers side with round concave mirrors. They are great. If you are interested I can look up where I got them.
