Whomever wins, the next president is going to have a great time in places North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Moscow........ what must the other world leaders think of us?
I have several different OBDII apps on different devices. So I decided to run 2 of them, to make sure that the car will pass the smog check. Nothing wrong with the car. But I didn't want any surprises.
I don't know if it was a good price or not. $45 out the door. On top of the "coupon", they charge you for a "certificate fee". Which is useless garbage. It's just a printout on a piece of per, which you don't need. The smog check computer has already entered the results, whether you pass or fail, into The State's computer. Nobody needs to see that piece of paper. Especially in the modern era, where we get our registration stickers from a Safeway store.
Coupons are two dollars more than what I paid. The repair shop connected two different scanners to it (one at a time of course) and only found the EVAP issue. However, that is the one that is cleared after filling up the tank over half full IIRC. So, it may have cleared by the time I got to RCCW. I looked at the fail sheet and it says two fails, one for no light on OBDII, and the other for a catalytic convertor under threshold. Bank 2. I will go back tomorrow to the repair shop and have them scan it again. It is BS if you ask me. No CEL the entire time I drove it right up to the time it was sitting in the oil change bay with me in the truck, and them doing the work up top and in a pit underneath the truck.
This is what our civilization has devolved to. A "female" boxer, who failed a gender test. We let people with a *****, beat the life out of people with a vagina.
