The middle of the month already? Time flies. The older I get, the faster it seems to fly by.

Beef pot roast makes everyone hungry. I always eat too much of it.

Your wife must do some fantastic things with all of that training.

I had tri tip Tuesday. I didn't cook it, someone from the church did. It was great as usual. I don't think I have ever had bad tri tip.
Tomorrow morning, I will be going to a men's breakfast at church. Sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. I went last year and got stuffed. Even got to take home a gallon of Minute Maid orange juice. maybe this year I will also get lucky.

Finally! After months of delays and excuses, the front bumper has been swapped out with the one from the donor truck!
Went to the Men's breakfast at church this morning, then stopped by the repair shop to have the front bumper replaced. I got there around 10:30am and didn't leave until 5:45pm... They didn't even start on it until 1pm. While there the owner asked if I wanted to buy two seats for my truck. They are in the donor truck he bought to fix the other 2005 F-150 (the white one that I got the engine from after mine destroyed itself). I asked him how much and he stated $200. I told him to hold onto them as I would buy them, but after I get the AC working first. I have not seen them yet, but he says they are grey in color which is what I need. The truck is sitting behind the shop, but it was too hot for me to hobble over there to it and check the condition. He states they are in great shop. I will check them out before handing over the cash, but it will be aa couple of months as the AC is my next priority.

Happy Sunday Nor-Cal. A year ago, I bought a can of flat black spray paint to hide some of the shiny metal behind the grille. Looking at the photo I took yesterday of the front bumper tells me it is time to take that can out of hiding and spray those parts. I also want to spray the top trim piece of the tailgate as it has turned a dingy gray. I noticed the trim piece is supposed to have 5 screws holding it on but mine has three and they are all different types. So, I will go to O'Rielly and see if I can get a package of screws that will work. Preferably black ones.

I guess if you had a supercar, you would be doing something else this weekend.

I guess if I was rich enough to own a supercar, I would be rich enough to afford the ticket.

Nothing pretty to look at. Pot roast. It's affordable. I get a big piece of it. Cook it for hours until it's tender. Then cut off a big piece. If I were the only person eating, there would be a week's worth of meals. Still a pretty good deal when people randomly stop in and eat your food.

I wonder if @Fat Diesel was in that line up? Hopefully he took a bunch of photos, not of being pulled over but of some of the cool cars!

Haha, no I wasn't in the lineup. I did take quite a few pictures over the weekend though. I'll try to get some of them uploaded.

Good to hear that nobody took pictures of you with a CHP dash cam.
