My 05 6.0l has been smoking lightly but it's getting worse. I drive 40 miles to work and 40 back. It's mixed driving. About 25 to 30 miles of 75mph to 55mph then the remaining is stop and go. I'd doesn't smoke at all at highway speeds but when I get to the stop and go it will smoke like my truck is in a vape competition. If I rev in neutral twice it stops for 30 seconds or longer or stop all together until I get to another light. On the way home it smokes at every light but when I get home after 25 to 30 miles of highway speeds it doesn't . I'm sure I have a sticking injector but sometimes the smoke smells like burning oil. Not sure what is going on help would be appreciated. Thanks

If you don't run any of the Archoil products DO SO!
The stuff won't fix a dead engine, but it can bring injectors back to life and keep the turbo/injector tips clean. Dump a bottle of ar6400-d into half a tank or less of diesel, add a 16 oz bottle of ar9100 to the engine oil(works best when oil level is at 1/2-3/4 on dipstick)then get the truck on the highway for 50-100 miles of energetic driving and then see how she runs after that. I also recommend the ar6500 on every fill up and if you want to save a few bucks just use it at half strength.
For best results do an oil change first before adding the ar9100 and use 0 or 5w40 full synthetic and filter should be genuine FORD with OEM filter cap.
White or Black? Any modifications or stock, a little information goes a long way.
I get white when idling and some black when i take off. I doesn't smell like oil when I drive easy but if I get on it I will smell oil then go away. It seems like stop and go driving it smokes the most. I'm pretty sure one of my injectors is going lazy. I run hot shots secret every oil change. I have already replaced #3 and #5 cause they failed I have replaced the oil cooler and egr cooler a new IPR. I have a tunner it's a SCT Livewire TS +. 4" down pipe and 5" exhaust Blue spring kit. Everything else is stock . I will be replacing all 8 injectors and a new KC turbo and HHC nipples after I replace this damn AC compressor. The truck has 265000 mies on it it starts up fine but sometimes it will start with low rpm and raise up to normal rpm but otherwise runs fine. No stalling or surging. My fuel mpg is poor until it gets to normal operation temps.

I always use full synthetic withs hotshots secret and always ford filters and sensors. Not my first ford. I learned the hard way years ago.
IDK but mine was smoking on the way back from the West Coast but has stopped now. I still think the B20 blend had something to do with it. Most fuel stations in NC do not have a bio-blend and can you be sure it is actually a 20% blend? What other junk is in the fuel?
