Why chase them down? Did he pay you on the spot or wanting him to? Were you expecting an apology? Less is more. I am glad there was not a further altercation, but you would have been viewed as the aggressor if there was.

Keep them emotions in check.
Got a pic of the bike and license plate.
Guy was a jackass, and he could have been in as much danger as I was.
He's pretty freaking lucky actually, lucky I didn't suddenly jerk the wheel when he surprised me when he hit my mirror and turn my truck into him, and lucky I wasn't some crazy redneck with a loaded gun ready to blow him away because he pissed me off.

I think you are the lucky one.
If you would have jerked the wheel and wiped him out. Partner 2 would have addressed the situation.
I think you are the lucky one actually. All you have is a picture and a broken mirror and a story.
The other side, which is 2 people and maybe a highly decorated war vet? You do not know what or who they may have been but they may have given you the greatest gift of your life by letting you leave that side street that you chased them down like a mad man in the middle of the night. Their story would be -this guy in front of us was driving radically hitting his brakes...etc etc. We went o pass him and he jerked into our lane and I used my arm to protect my life. Then this guy chased us across state lines.
You really are lucky to have drove off that side road with no body harm.
Well, I had no gun, against the law for me to carry one on an interstate commerce class vehicle.
And, if he had pulled a gun, then I surely would have run over his scooter.
what? You’re a hotshotter, right? Dont think there is any restriction reguardless.

If you would have had a dash cam none of this "chasing/confronting" needed to happen, You give it to the cops and... you are a 1/2 step ahead, if you want to pursue it for insurance purposes... JMO
Those talking about gun play are crazy. The man’s life was never in danger. Particularly after he perused them. Woulda found hisself “scared” and acted wrongly causing way more damage than a mirror. OP I’ll give you some advice. Next time there is an aggressor around you let them go by. A street fight or confrontation is never worth it. I train in a few different ways and the number one rule of a real dangerous person is to avoid conflict. Aggressive people are usually not a threat and should be dismissed and you move in with life. You wouldn’t have had a broken truck or your *** potentially kicked. You guys talking tough have zero clue.

You sound as you may have been in some hollers in the Daniel Boone Forst. Chase a couple bikers down a "side" street or F around with some locals in that area.
Go mess around in the hills of EKY and act a fool. Most these small places the sheriff is a relative.
.As far as gun play, the danger started when the chase started,
I live in Kansas, a Constitutional carry state. I do carry concealed and am very pro A2. But the second you chase someone down, you are the aggressor and the tables have turned against you, especially a 2 on 1 situation, in unfamiliar territory against bikers at night. Not a wise decision and yielding a firearm in that situation, after chasing them, good luck with any "self defense" claim holding up. Some of you all need to get a grip on the meaning of life.
