Thanks guys, its nice knowing that the original junk o-ring from Ford is gone, that thing is a joke.....I know it does the job, but mine was weeping slightly. I pull a lot of boost up some steep long hills, so my confidence level is way up now. Looking forward to next pull with a wider pipe, I'm sure it will be the same, but I can pretend lol.

Not to get off topic, but to keep my engine clean I use Simple Green, 60% solution to 40% water. Spray it everywhere on a cool, dry engine and hose it off just before it starts to dry, garden hose only with no pressure washer, a final rinse and let it air dry. The pic I posted is actually a dirty engine bay, so it looks even better freshly washed.

No worries man... not me. I like mine dirty and oily>>>from the anti-corrosion oil I get my truck sprayed with each year, up here in the rust belt.

BTW, was the S&B pipe O-ring upgraded as in bigger diameter like my SPE cold pipe?

I’m still in Florida but here is the status of the favor ccv filter install.

1. I have the mount bracket , it will be an amsoil mount that goes on the side of the frame wheel the two transfer case skid plate bolts are.

2. the filter has arrived

3. the fittings have arrived

4. I ordered the blocking caps for my intake where the ccv hose mounts.

5. I picked up 20ft of 1” hose at a Napa store. Don’t know if I want to send the filter out back to my intake or run it to a hose to the rear bumper. Pros are the fumes are filtered and I would have a catch can and it will keep hot fumes from going into my turbo charger. Cons…none that I can think of.

i might walk this idea back if I can route the filter out thru a frame mounted cooler so that hot gases don’t go into my intake. The cooler might be phase 2.

Yes it is, I should have taken dimensions prior to install. My guess is it's maybe a 1/4" thick silicone. I wish I would have posted pics if the two.

Simple Green is the ticket... Along with car soap on the painted surfaces.

Schitt that's cool... The only reason I went with The SBE was the thicker O-ring... And maybe more flexibility with the lower coupler but man... That's good to know... I'll post pics of mine when I do my SPE pipe.

I had time today to open and clean my cdiy catch can. I can see how this gunk can clog a filter. Glad to see it being taken away from the engine.
